Twiga Hostel - Founder and Manager Agripina

Agripina

Welcome to Twiga Hostel! My name is Agripina or like my boyfriend likes to call me “Twiga”, which means giraffe.

I am the founder and manager of Twiga Hostel and with over 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am keen to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for travellers from all over the world.

I started my college education in tourism and hospitality driven by a deep passion for travel and a desire to offer guests a home away from home.

I’m looking forward to making your stay with us an unforgettable experience!

PS: Please call me Dada Twiga ;).

NCT Arusha

The National College of Tourism in Arusha, where I studied, is a vocational training college in Tanzania which specializes in hospitality management and operations, particularly for hotels. It was established in 1993 by the Harms Seidel Foundation of Munich, Germany, and the Arusha Municipal Council.

CO² Compensation

As you are flying from afar to see our beautiful Tanzania, consider offsetting your carbon footprint by making a donation to Wilderness International. The average carbon footprint offset for a flight from Berlin to KIA is around 3,991 kg CO₂.

Supporting girls’ education

I grew up in Karatu close to Lake Eyasi, and I know very well the situation of girls and women. That’s why we support girls’ & women’s education by making a donation to  the Pepea Children Foundation in Karatu for every booking.
